Potatoes to the City

I never thought I would see two of my favorite things together. Potatoes and designer clothes?


Today while walking to work, I couldn't help but notice in the display windows of the Barneys New York were hundreds of Mr. Potato Heads. This instantly made me miss home. Blackfoot, Idaho with its prestitious title of "Potato Capitol of the World". My childhood friend and, in a sense, my roots have followed me to Seattle.

You can take the girl out of potato land but you can't take potatoes out of the city?

    How funny. You would never expect to see that while walking down the street in a big city.
